Imagine...

Robert Greene observed once that creativity is a combination of discipline and a childlike spirit. I definitely agree, perhaps with the proviso that imagination take the place of the latter.

I think they are the same thing much of the time, imagination and a child's spirit. Its just imagination is especially invaluable in facing the challenges that confront us - personally and as a people.

And I'm learning that true imagination seems to come from deep within. It seems an extension of our personality, so that being creative is as much the science of discipline as it is the art of who we are.
